How to play Smash
The rules of Smash are quite simple: the last person alive wins the round.
- To have a better chance of winning, you should equip a Smash Mine or Smash Tool to give yourself an advantage over your opponents.
- 15 rounds will be played on the same map, with each round ending when there is only one player left alive. There are multiple types of rounds.
- You gain Cash by eliminating players, getting kill streaks and winning rounds.
Weapons & Tools
In addition to running and jumping around the platforms to outmaneuver your opponents, there are a variety of weapons and tools that can be used to your advantage. Smash Weapons and Tools are items that can be found, crafted, purchased in the store or traded from other players.
A mine or tool is included in your Bundle of Starter items; make sure to unpack it in your inventory!
Weapons and tools can be equipped by pressing F3!
Mines
Mines can be placed on the ground and will affect anybody that walks over them (including yourself!). Some of these mines can stun, slow, or even push players in random directions, so make sure to place them strategically!
Some mines can be disassembled by pointing at them, and pressing "Right Mouse".
Tools
Alternatively, you can use tools instead of mines to give yourself an advantage over your opponents. Some of the tools allow you to jump multiple times, propel yourself a short distance, or reduce the damage you take from falling.
Rounds
To make the game more interesting, there are multiple types of rounds that can be played. The round type is chosen at random at the start of each round.
- Normal Round: The default round. Blocks fall from the sky.
- Large Round: Blocks are larger than unusual.
- Small Round: Blocks are smaller than usual.
- Explosive Round: Blocks will explode on contact with the platforms or players.
- Fragment Round: Blocks split into fragments.
- Crazy Round: A mix of previous rounds: Blocks are larger, fragment, explode and contact and can bounce.
- Golden Round: Golden blocks fall from the sky. When touched, these blocks will award you with a random item.
